AMRT - Austrian Match Racing Tour 2022

Match Racing gilt für viele Segelsportbegeisterte als Grundlage für eine gute Mannschaftsbildung. International hat das Format einen hohen Stellenwert. Bootsbeherrschung, Regelkenntnis und die engen Duelle führen immer wieder die besten Segelteams des Landes zu den Match Races. Im neu aufgelegten Format wird heuer auf OeSV-eigenen Sprintos und auf J/70, die auch in der Bundesliga zum einsatz kommen gesegelt. Somit bietet das Format auch optimale Trainingsmöglichkeiten. Der Sieger der Tour darf im Herbst an den Austrian Sailing Masters teilnehmen.

For many sailing enthusiasts, match racing is the basis for good team building. The format is of great importance internationally. Boat control, knowledge of the rules and close duels repeatedly lead the best sailing teams in the country to the match races. In the new format, OeSV's own Sprintos and J/70s, which are also used in the Bundesliga, will be sailed this year. The format also offers optimal training opportunities. The winner of the tour can take part in the Austrian Sailing Masters in autumn.
